  • Do you have public liability insurance?
    Yes we do. Upon request we can send you our certificate of insurance which covers up to $30 million in public liabilities.
  • What does your package includes?
    Our package includes: PA, DJ, Disco lights, Customised playlist, DJ table, Bump in, setup, Packdown, Bump out, Travel & Parking. We also include as standard the following: Subwoofers, Wireless microphone We only use state of the art sound system that is regularly maintained and updated.
  • Is the number of guests relevant to get a quote?
    Knowing the number of guests helps us to give you a more accurate quote. The amount of gear and PA for 50 people is very different for an event of 300 people. A smaller party would only require a small PA whereas a large party of 300 or more would require a larger PA production. If you can imagine bringing small speakers to large wedding, not even the background music would be loud enough to hear from the back of the room.
  • How do I book?
    Once you have received and accepted our quote, we'll then send you an email with a booking form for you to fill out.
  • How much are your prices?
    We create a personalised custom quote for each event, and we’ll send you a complete and accurate price quote in our first email to you based on availability, number of guests and the date, time, and location of your event. In keeping with our company's core values, we will always give you our best price when we send you a quote, you don’t even need to ask! We have no interest in over-charging or up-selling our customers – your experience working with Guru entertainment will always be simple, straightforward, and hassle-free.
  • Why do you need to know a date to get a quote?
    We need to know the date of your event so we can firstly check if we have availability. We often get booked out the closer to the date and prices can vary on dates e.g. December peak season, New years eve, and Public Holidays.
  • How long have you been doing this professionally and how many events have you played?
    On average our DJs have a minimum of 15 plus years of experience and handle 100-150 events a year consisting of weddings, birthday parties and corporate events.
